Automations

Most quotes don't close on day one. Automations do the following up, so you don't have to remember to.

What runs out of the box

These recipes are on by default for every account:

RecipeWhat it does
Quote follow-upEmails the customer 2, 5, and 9 days after a quote they didn't finish, inviting them back to their price.
Event remindersReminds customers about upcoming appointments so fewer people no-show.

They know when to stop

Automations check before every send. Follow-ups stop on their own when the customer books, pays, or the job moves forward. Nobody gets a "come back!" email after they already bought.

Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and OpenGate honors it automatically.

Turning recipes on and off

  1. Open AutomationsIn the app sidebar, under Engage.
  2. Pick a recipeSee what it sends and when.
  3. Flip the switchOn or off, per recipe. Changes apply right away.

See what was sent

Every automatic email shows up in Conversations, so you always know exactly what your customers received and when.

Why it matters: a lead followed up three times is worth far more than a lead followed up zero times — and zero is what most busy crews manage by hand.
